Blues, vivid or difficult to listen? I first believe blues ARE vivid, though hard to listen to. Their rhythm and harmony is joyful, however its lyrics are way more complex than abc. As we know (or if you didn't), there are two types of blues, country and city blues. I believe the hardest to hear are country blues since they are improvised, different from city blues that are pre-writed. Why difficult? Imagine yourself hearing a heart-break man with at least 2 beers in his organism, sing to you something coming sporadicly from his mind or well, imagination.. Well, not trying to say every blues singer is sad and heart-broken, but when talking about "blues", we know for certain that their beliefs is that when they sing, their "blues" (sadnesses) will go away. Therefore, I think it might be way easier hearing city blues, because if somehow you like or didn't understand the song, you can later enter www.google.com and find the lyrics, however with country blues you are hearing a one-time song that not even the singer will remember. So, would you say they are vivid or difficult to listen? Blues: http://www.allaboutjazz.com/a-brief-history-of-the- blues-by-ed-kopp.php?&pg=1#.VD8zMGYo5jo
