Is it the end yet?
Have you ever wondered how is it to live in a world where you are said what to think, do and believe? In a world where one ignorant person will be controlling everyone’s mind? Well, I am Lena, 16 years old, brunette, ordinary girl, and in my city I wouldn't count as normal but as for another world, probably a utopia I might be. I live in this horrible world where this thing called "major" or our "god" will be telling and introducing to our minds whatever he wants and we should just yield. I don't really know from where do I come from or who my parents are, certainly is not the major as I should believe, however that is not important, I am concerned about the future. As any other story I am not alone, I have someone by my side, and not a bad company, I have the best company a girl could have, her best friend. Different from most girl my best friend is a boy, his name is Max and he is 18 years old. I have known Max since I was 8 years old and since then we haven't separate once. We know and love each other as ourselves, he is just so....ahhhhhh.....nice, friendly, caring, respectful, funny, Stop! Lena focus!, however from about a year ago we have been noticing and analyzing the reality and the city we live on, and we just got to the conclusion......it sucks, a lot, and most certainly is a dystopia, and the biggest problem is that no one has notice it, or well they "believe" everything is ok as it is. Max and I have been wondering what really happened and why we are how we are now, its been almost impossible to answer that. I'll just finish by saying that we now have a plan.
"Len! , have you seen my telegram?, I haven't seen it in a while"
"What do you need it for though?"
"Did you know the cat got killed by curiosity?"
"Ha ha ha, so find it by yourself...”
"Aghh, I just... I didn't wanted to tell you, the thing is I remember once I saved a version of the old newspaper there and just wanted to..."
"WHATTT! You are a jerk, why wouldn't you tell me, you know how important this is for me!" She said, "Yes, I know, the thing is that, what I remember wasn't exactly like well, completely.... Fascinating?" Max said
"What are you talking about? You mean... You have the one?" Said Len
Max assured with his head. Len then went to an old box and from it took out an old telegram, she handed to Max and what she saw after was the old version of the newspaper with a header that said Lena, the girl who born, disappeared and never came back"
Lena instantly got pale and the next thing she waked up was a white room and a constant beep, she fainted.
"Lena,!thank god! How are you feeling? Do you remember what happened? Ache of any type? Doctorrr Doctorr!" Max said
"Max keep calm, I am okay, just a little too much of exciting news,however, just show me that telegram!"
"Len, I was told to not give you extreme feelings or emotions, your heart is really hurt, just realx, I will be here for you no matter what, it will be just for a week, the surgery was already done yesterday, you will be much better like in two days with the help of the rehabilitator" saying this, Max kisses
Lenas forehead and presses the botton of the rehabilitator making her sleep.
Two weeks later...
"Maaaaaax!!!! Come on, I am a girl I am ready 10 minutes before you" Lena screamed
"I´m coming, just wait, I have a surprise for you"
Lenas eyes got open as plates when she saw what Max had for her
"Surprise!!Happy Birthday Len" He said
"Max.... I can´t believe it, you..you..you figured out, you..you..you repair my digital album....I-i-i don´t have words.. thank you" Lena said hugging Max
"Well, I hope you like it, though I am most than sure of that now...Len, I have always wanted to tell you something...I-i-i...I think I" Max got silenced by a kiss, they both engage their lips as if it was the last thing they would do in the world. Both of them have love secretly from years before, but neither of them maked a move or two to make the other one notice.
"I love you Max"
"I love you too Len, to the moon and back"
The next day..
"So, we will get into the majors apartment and turn off the monitors and reset everything.."
"Though it will make 30 years old babies"
"It is the only remedy.."
"Together?"
"Forever"
Max and Lena then proceed their plan which took them up to one month to launch, the entrance in the building was extremely secure, they even had to convert to cats, however, they make it to the majors apartment and could turn off and reset everything. Now everything would be different.
